Harder Run

Open again from may

It's well worth visiting the Jungfrau Region.

We are offering you an attractive run in the form of the Jungfrau-Marathon Harder Run. Run individually on a challenging alpine course from Interlaken at the foot of the Harder up to the Harder Kulm.

ATTENTION If the cows are on the alp "Bleiki", we ask you to follow the diversion. Thank you very much.

You run, walk or hike the route at your own risk.

Time measurement and course are open daily from 10 May to 26 October 2025.

Registration opens on 9 May 2025.

Mass start Harder Run Race

You can race the Harder Run in a race with mass start on Friday, 5 September 2025 at 5.10 pm.

The entry fee includes:

time measurement with chip
Liquid Energy Carbohydrate Gel from Sponser
luggage transport to the finish
return train journey to Interlaken
non-alcoholic summit beer from Rugenbräu
finisher certificate printing out at home

Race categories M/W under 20, 20, 45, walkers

It is NOT possible to register at the ticket counter Harderbahn in Interlaken.

We recommend to run the Harder Run in the morning or afternoon, as longer waiting times are to be expected for the return journey in the evening.

Race Number

Shortly after your registration you will receive a payment confirmation by E-Mail. With this confirmation you can collect your race number at the railway station ticket counter Harderbahn in Interlaken.

Opening hours station Harderbahn in Interlaken:
daily 09.00h - 21.00h

Together with your race number you will receive the label for the luggage transport and a train ticket with the Harderbahn for the return journey to Interlaken.

ATTENTION: The start number must be worn open for the start and finish. An red light will flash by passing the timekeeping system.

Luggage can be collected from the Harder Kulm mountain station (not from the restaurant).

Signalisation

The course is signposted throughout with "Jungfrau-Marathon Harder Run" signs.

Make the Harder Run your training route. You can trigger the timing system up to 10 times with your race number. The fastest time will be included in the ranking list. Please note that luggage transport, the return ticket and the summit beer are only included for the first run.
